MSE is an ambitious, multi-faceted landscaping and building company that stands for reliable service and quality craftsmanship. They have a straightforward and honest approach to each project.
The business owners have their ambitions set high too— aiming to collaborate with established national companies and government bodies on large, high-spec jobs, so the brand needed to communicate professionalism and reliability.
The challenge was to create an identity that communicates all of this, whilst also being visually distinctive and disruptive enough to stand out from their competitors.
MSE wanted to stand out amongst the plethora of leaf-green landscapers and predictably red construction companies, so a contemporary and striking colour palette was created.
The palette is made up of trustworthy blue tones, supported by earthy green tones and a neon yellow inspired by hi-visibility clothing. The core blues offer a welcome contrast to other companies in the industry and helps the neon yellow have ultimate impact.
The design kit features a suite of refined line-based illustrations, inspired by angles and perspectives found in homes and gardens. The aim was to highlight and refer to the level of precision that MSE operates, whilst feeling premium enough to match their offering.
The website needed to encompass MSEs background, skills and services whilst being informative and easy to update with new content and images as they complete new projects. With this in mind, the site was built on Squarespace with dedicated sections for services, the team and case studies.
